US Customers and the .com website

Submitted by administrator on Mon, 11/02/2009 - 15:12

Hello to our US based customers,

Our US based avalanchesafety.com website is almost complete, but not quite. Until that time feel free to purchase directly off of the Canadian site with all prices in Canadian dollars or feel free to call us toll free at 877-742-8769 and we will give you our American pricing. Please be advised that we must ship to an address in the USA to honour US pricing.

Currently all product is shipped from Golden, BC Canada. When we ship the Snowpulse lifebag to the US we are currently shipping the cylinder empty and ready to be filled. It is then up to you, once you receive the pack to take the cylinder to a paintball or dive shop and have it filled to the correct pressure, more specific instructions come with each unit. We hope this minor situation will soon be resolved and we will be able to ship full cylinders to you from Boise, Idaho but until that time this is an okay solution.

If you have any questions please feel free to call us and we will do our best to answer them.

Thanks for your understanding.

Avalanche Safety Solutions offers a range of Avalanche Safety Gear including Snowpulse avalanche airbags, avalanche transceivers, avalanche probes, and avalanche shovels. We currently sell brands such as Mammut, BCA, Pieps, and Snowpulse. In fact we are the world’s largest dealer of the Snowpulse avalanche airbag. In the near future we also expect to sell Ortovox, ABS avalanche airbags, and the Avivest when it becomes available. Based in Golden, BC, Canada, we sell top of the line avalanche safety equipment; gear such as the Mammut Barryvox Pulse avalanche transceiver, the Pieps DSP transceiver, the Snowpulse Lifebag avalanche airbag, and the inexpensive BCA Tracker. We are experts in the field and can offer you advice on which product best suits your needs. We also offer avalanche skills training courses (AST Courses) for snowmobilers and skiers. These avalanche courses are based in Golden, BC and focus on avalanche terrain identification, avalanche rescue, interpreting the Canadian Avalanche Association’s avalanche bulletin, and safe backcountry travel techniques. We want all of our customers to come home after a great day in the mountains and we believe the products that we sell help people do just that. Have a safe winter.
