The Probe Light is a 6-piece aluminium probe that is 11 mm in diameter and 240cm long and has a drop-shaped probe tip. The Probe Light uses a lightweight, non-stretch Dyneema cord and a telescopic lock, which allows for easy assembly and interlock. With a new, improved lock this probe is safe and easy to operate with gloves on.

With a weight of only 180g and a carry bag with printed instructions and emergency plan this probe is a must for every backpack that travels into the backcountry.
 

A global novelty, the Pieps iPROBE Carbon, is an avalanche probe with integrated digital technology. It provides a hit and proximity reading of every standard beacon transmitter and enables a short-time deactivation of the detected transmitter (for transceivers with iPROBE support).

The first tone is emitted (beep, beep …) and the LED illuminates when the tip of the probe is about 2 meters from the transmitting beacon. At a distance of about 50cm, a continuous acoustic tone (beeeeeeeep) is emitted and the LED remains continuously illuminated.

The BCA Profile 240 probe is a solid, reliable probe for recreational backcountry enthusiasts. It provides 240cm of solid aluminium tubing that locks together with a quickie tensioning system. The depth markings will allow you to see how deep you are probing.
