The Snowpulse Highmark was designed with snowmobilers in mind. The outside shovel storage allows for quick and easy access to your favourite tool. The Highmark has no ski/snowboard straps - because you don’t need them! However, the Highmark is compatible with the Snowpulse Switch system, so if you ever want a cover with straps - then it would be easy to have both. The Highmark has 30L of storage space made up of two compartments. When not using all the space the pack cinches down nicely to be very low-profile against the back.

The Snowpulse cylinder is reusable. However; when it has been blown, before filling it with dry compressed air to 3000psi, there is a small o-ring that must be changed. This o-ring is found on the piston which sits inside the top of the cylinder. The O-Ring Kit provides everything you need to change the O-Ring yourself: 20 O-Rings, tweezers, red tape to protect the cylinder from moisture, grease to ensure proper workings of the mechanical parts of  the cylinder and an extra pin.

The cylinder has a pressure gauge so you can see how full it is, or check for the unlikely event that it has leaked. You should always check the pressure gauge before you head out. The extra cylinder is great to have as a back-up on a long trip - in case you accidentally deploy your pack and you are nowhere near a refilling station.
 

The 45L cover with the Switch system creates the perfect large pack for big missions. Designed for use in conjunction with the Lifebag Base Frame. The ideal pack for industry professionals, ski tourers, and those who wish to carry a bit more. The Lifebag 45 is the only tube stuff sack style cover in the Snowpulse line. It has 45L of internal storage capacity and is the largest in the Snowpulse line-up. There are two main vertical pockets, one for your probe and shovel, and one for the rest of your gear.

The smallest of the switch system covers, with one storage compartment of 15L. This cover is ideal for those that do not want to carry a lot of gear on their back. There is sufficient space for a probe, shovel, headlamp and first-aid kit. It has easily removable ski/snowboard straps.

The Snowpulse base frame is the foundation of the Snowpulse Switch System. It has been designed for the quick, easy and affordable interchange of the different pack covers: 15L, 30L, 45L and Highmark. The Base Frame contains all the functioning components of the airbag system: the airbag, cylinder and ripcord. This year the shoulder straps are lower profile, which provides more room for your helmet.  On the waist band there is a new accessories pocket and the buckle has been improved to a simple, yet effective freeze-proof, aluminium, quick-release system. .
