CYLINDER INCLUDED!  ($175 VALUE)

This pack was part of a rental fleet with a local Heliski company. It is in very good shape with minimal usage. It has been thouroughly inspected and refurbished where necessary in order to bring it up to excellent condition.  The exterior helmet carry is no longer functional.

The Lifebag 30 is a key piece of Avalanche Safety Equipment being sold at a huge discount.  This avalanche airbag is brand new and has never left our shop, meaning you can pick it up for cheap, cheap!

The Snowpulse Lifebag 30L is the ideal size for ski tourers and backcountry adventurers for a single day outting. There are two main vertical pockets - one for a probe and shovel, and one for the rest of your gear. The pack has compression straps so if you are not using all the space you can cinch it down to make it really low profile on your back. There are ski attachment points and skis can be carried in an A frame or diagonally across the back.

Available in Size Large only (built for those 5'9" and up).

All Snowpulse Avalanche Airbags utilize compressed dry air canisters (included here).  They are reusable and refillable at Snowpulse refill stations, Dive/SCUBA Shops and Paintball shops.

I'm on my second year

I'm on my second year sledding with my original 30L pack. I find it very comfortable and large enough to carry everything I want on my back, which for me is basic emergency gear like my shovel, probe, survival kit, spare gloves (2 pair), and a small lunch. I don't want anything else on my back. If you want to carry more gear than that though I would suggest the 45L. There were some complaints from others about the original buckle, but I'm still using it and have no problems with it. I just installed the venturi update and it went in very easily. I did originally have a cylinder with a bad gauge, but Chuck replaced it with a new one no problem. I do have a bit of a problem with the location of the trigger handle. I find it a bit high on my shoulder for easy access in an emergency, but that may be a mobility issue on my part from an old neck injury. I also find the waist strap a bit short. I have it maxed out to reach around my not so thin frame, and I'm also wearing it over a Tek Vest which probably doesn't help. All in all I really like this pack and would not hesitate to recommend it.

This my second season using

This my second season using the SnowPulse 30L. As an avalanche professional, I appreciate the added safety that this piece of equipment brings to me in the backcountry.

Today I took my 30L snowpulse

Today I took my 30L snowpulse pack out for the first time. It fit everything I needed for a day of touring, including some extra water and a thermos. The pack itself was very comfortable and the straps adjusted well. The buckle on the waist belt is easy to fasten and tighten. Although the pack is slightly heavier than a pack without the airbag system, because it is so comfortable I didn't really notice the weight difference. I would not hesitate to recommend it to all backcountry users as both a great pack and backcountry safety essential. Laura Heffler, British Columbia, Canada
